If you are smart and good at what you do, apply.We will welcome you as you are.&#160;Responsibilities<ul><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Design, develop and train deep learning models for image classification tasks using PyTorch.&#160;</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Utilize PyTorch Mobile to optimize the models for deployment on an embedded system.&#160;</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Test models&#8217; performance and reliability, and fine-tune the models as necessary.&#160;</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Collaborate with the data collection team to improve the quality and utility of our dataset.&#160;</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Stay updated with the latest research in AI and ML fields, and implement new strategies to improve existing systems.&#160;</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code with comprehensive documentation.&#160;</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Work with the cross-functional team to integrate the model into our product&#8217;s software stack.&#160;</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Bachelor&#8217;s or Master&#8217;s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning or related field;&#160;</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Proven experience in training deep learning models, specifically for image classification tasks.&#160;</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Solid statistics background to evaluate the performance of the algorithms you invent.&#160;</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Fluent in both novel and well-established computer vision techniques including object detection, image segmentation, text recognition and deep learning.</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Hands-on experience fine tuning Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN&#8217;s) like ResNet / EfficientNet.&#160;</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Familiarity with embedded systems and constraints associated with them (memory, compute, power, etc.).&#160;</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Strong programming skills in Python.&#160;</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Understanding of data augmentation techniques and handling imbalance datasets.&#160;</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Proficiency in implementing ML models at the edge, including optimization, quantization, and pruning techniques.&#160;</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li></ul>Bonus Skills<ul><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Advanced command of classical (pre deep-learning) CV theory and practice</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Hands-on experience with PyTorch and PyTorch Mobile</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Familiarity with other ML frameworks and tools (TensorFlow, keras, Etc.).</li><li style="list-style-type:disc;">Experience deploying vision models with Android</li></ul>&#160;The starting base pay for the Computer Vision Engineer (Contractor) role is between $100 and $135 per hour.
