Front-End Engineer (2 Openings in San Francisco, CA)

We're actively looking for a Front-End Engineer to join our engineering team in San Francisco. As a Front-End Engineer, you will work to create beautiful and engaging experiences in an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

Write modular, scalable, testable JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Implement user interface components for web and mobile products
Develop internal UI libraries and frameworks to be used across multiple projects
Interface with other engineering groups in order to integrate with third-party APIs and service layers
Address software quality issues as they arise and identify areas for improvement proactively

Qualifications
Strong understanding of JavaScript and its related best practices
Experience with React and Redux
Attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to translate designs into pixel-perfect HTML and CSS
Working knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and strategies for achieving cross-platform consistency
Experience working with SCM tools such as Git

Senior Back-End Engineer (1 Opening in San Francisco, 1 Opening Remote)

We're actively looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer to join our engineering team in San Francisco. As a Back-End Engineer, you will work on long term projects building the Node.js backend for complicated applications. You will be responsible for crafting APIs, integrating with a robust set of search functionality, and building a number of AWS services.

Senior Project Lead, Social Impact (1 Opening in San Francisco, CA)

Presence’s Social Impact team is dedicated to providing technology solutions to nonprofit organizations to help them scale, become more efficient through better use of technology, and to be able to better fulfill their missions.

Responsibilities

The Senior Project Lead, Social Impact is responsible for leading nonprofit projects end-to-end, and has experience doing the full lifecycle of Salesforce.com projects: project management, business analysis, solution design, configuration, QA, data migration, documentation and training. This position includes being a primary Business Analyst on the projects you will be leading. The Senior Project Lead will potentially manage a small team (less than five) of consultants. As a member of the Social Impact team, the Senior Project Lead will also participate in marketing efforts as appropriate, including attending conferences, and writing thought leadership pieces.

Qualifications

Strong client facing skills, ability to manage large enterprise software projects as the main client contact
Can Lead client Discovery for nonprofit Salesforce.com implementations - this involves running client interviews to determine requirements and creating Discovery artifacts, such as Use Cases, Business Process flows and Requirements documentation
Understands complexities of data migrations that utilize middleware/data loading tools
Is able to write clear system documentation, and lead/participate in client training
Experience managing a small team of consultants
Has a technical background, and understands various software development methodologies including waterfall and agile development
Strong interest in collaborating on and improving delivery processes
Produce tangible project management deliverables: project plan, status reports, meeting minutes, etc.

Experience

5+ years of experience as a software product/project manager
3+ years of experience with custom Salesforce.com solution design
3+ years of experience with Salesforce configuration
Preferably more than one Salesforce.com certification

Senior Salesforce Engineer, Social Impact (1 Opening in SF)

Responsibilities

The Senior Salesforce Engineer has a solid background in software engineering, has developed on multiple platforms including Salesforce.com and enjoys developing custom web applications. As a member of the Social Impact team, the Senior Salesforce Engineer will help to define software engineering best practices and processes, participate in code reviews, and join other architectural discussions across all Presence projects.

 

Qualifications

Strong experience with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Lightning (not mandatory).
Expert experience in back-end technologies: APEX, SOQL.
Strong experience with technologies supporting SaaS application integrations using Web Services (REST, OAuth, SOAP, XML).
Ability to design quality software utilizing best practices on the Salesforce.com platform, with an eye to reusability and scalability.
You can take wireframes and Visual Designs from a UI/UX resource and implement them.
You believe in and love writing unit tests.
Organized, detail-oriented, and determined to produce high-quality, on-time work. Strong business process focus and skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills as applied in systems documentation, client meetings, team interaction, and everything in between.

Experience

Degree in CS, or equivalent
5+ years as a software engineer with Java, C#, or a similar language
3+ years developing software on the Salesforce.com platform with APEX, and Visualforce
2+ years in an information technology consulting role, delivering projects to multiple clients
Preferably has Platform Developer I/II or Advanced Developer certs
